Seabrook beach rules change tomorrow
Temporary rules start Oct. 15 while SIPOA scrapes sand on the beach, expected through Dec. 31.

Seabrook Island beach rules change Oct. 15: the Town adopted temporary rules while SIPOA runs its sand scraping project, expected to finish by Dec. 31, 2026.
No beach access between sunset and sunrise while the rules are in place, per the Town of Seabrook Island.
No pets at any time, leashed or not, from Boardwalk #1 to the ocean and northeast to Captain Sams Inlet. Everywhere else on the beach, pets stay on a leash.
No open flames, fires, or propane grills, cookers or heaters on the beach during the project.
Most motor vehicles are off the beach. Authorized ones keep to 10 mph or less, stay on wet sand and out of the dunes.
