- Local residents of Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties can register free for the club’s Brigade rate; show a license at check-in. Source
- Part of the 1779 Battle of Stono Ferry was fought where holes 12 to 14 lie; a redoubt from it sits by the 12th fairway. Source
