Seabrook Island Town Council meets Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
A public hearing on Ordinance 2026-03, a proposed road-damage release agreement and a facilities study report are on the agenda.

The Seabrook Island Town Council holds its regular meeting Tuesday, October 27, at 2:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road. The Town streams it live on its YouTube channel.
The agenda has a public hearing and second reading of Ordinance 2026-03. It would amend Section 30-55 of the Town Code, which sets the powers and duties of the Seabrook Island Utility Commission, to change the procedures for providing utility services to customers outside the town limits when the services are provided under an intergovernmental agreement. The ordinance text is a PDF on the Town's ordinance page, and the Town takes written comments through its online form until noon on the day of the meeting.
Under other action items, Council is asked to authorize the mayor to negotiate and execute a release agreement with Atlantic Partners II and others related to post-construction (MUSC/Seafields) damage to Seabrook Island Road. The agenda lists a possible executive session on the item, for proposed contractual arrangements, and says Council may act on it when it returns to open session.
Staff reports include the Town Administrator's report on a Liollio facilities assessment and space needs study, the September financials, and the Town's Holiday Drop-In & Toy Drive on December 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Town's calendar also lists the Utility Commission on Wednesday morning at 8:30 and shows Wednesday's Board of Zoning Appeals meeting as cancelled.
Why it matters: Residents can watch live, or send comments on Ordinance 2026-03 until noon Tuesday.
